2019 European Challenge Tour Foshan Open opens its shots this week starting today, October 24th. While the golf tournament welcoming the players, Foshan Open Culture & Industry Symposium is going to unwind the feast of culture and sports with fine wine and food at Canton International House. For celebrating the 40th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic relations between China and Portugal, the Symposium unveiled its stage by the theme of Portugal on the first day. The fascinating history and multi-culture of Portugal, outstanding gourmet, world-wide famous football stars and irresistible Vinho do Porto danced around the House, making audiences sunk into Portuguese world.

Mr. Nuno Marques, coach from Portuguese Football Federation introduced the football culture of Portugal at the Symposium. As he mentioned, football culture has merged into people’s lives in Portugal in all parts including children care and charity. This sport makes kids embracing the nature away from smart phones, that shares the same spirit of golf! Moreover, Portugal is one of the best destinations of golf in the world.

欧巡赛冠军、葡萄牙高尔夫球员里卡多-桑托斯（Ricardo Santos）比赛结束后出席了下午的活动，他曾于2012年5月以四杆优势夺得马德拉岛公开赛冠军，那也是他的欧巡赛首冠，今年则获得了瑞士高尔夫挑战赛的冠军。在今天开杆的2019佛山公开赛首轮，他交出了67杆（-5）跻身成绩榜前十。广粤国际交流中心副总经理欧力洋尽东道主之谊，向其赠送了广粤国际交流中心卡通玩偶和周大福项链作为礼物，表达心意，随后全体嘉宾上台与他拍摄合影，伴随着激昂的音乐，摄影师记录下了这一珍贵的时刻。
The Portuguese winner of European Tour, Ricardo Santos joined the Symposium in the afternoon after his round. Achieving his first crown in European Tour by 4 strokes ahead in Madeira Island Open in May of 2012, Ricardo nailed on the trophy of Swiss Challenge this year. And he just put the name into the top 10 by the score of 67 (-5) today in the first round of Foshan Open. Mr. Leon Ou, the Deputy General Manager of Canton International House welcome Ricardo with a dedicatedly selected gifts of Dou Dou (mascot of Canton International House) and necklace of Chow Tai Fook under the joyful music. And more friendly greetings from all speakers and guests recorded in the cameras as one of memorial moments of the day.

Mr. Fabio Pombo现为香港新葡京酒店主厨，曾为葡萄牙显赫的家庭担任私厨。他说：葡萄牙美食和中华美食有很多相似之处，充满诱惑的味道和文化底蕴，给人美的享受。他在现场指导烹饪了一道秘制私房菜——葡式猪肉炒花甲，原来这道菜是外婆教他的，如今在他手上传承下来。共4位女嘉宾参与到现场烹饪过程中，兴致勃勃，学得很认真。整个烹饪的过程，不是辛苦，而是愉悦，给人以另类的趣味和成就感。
The Chef of Casa Lisboa Restaurant, Mr. Fabio Pombo who used to be the private chef of the celebrated family in Portugal talked about the similarities between Portuguese food and Chinese food, which of both deliver tempting taste and deep culture to people for an enjoyment of beauty. At the Symposium, he demonstrated and cooked one of his signatures dishes - Portuguese Mussels Braised with Pork, which also is a recipe from his grandmother. Four ladies joined in, enjoying every minute with Fabio that made the demonstration became a joyful gathering with fun and achievements.
有人感叹说，现场秒变成美女+帅哥厨房。当美食出炉，香味四溢。美食无国界，充满中葡交融的风韵情调和温情的魔力，是生活，也是格调。大家纷纷与主厨合影，品尝自己亲自烹饪的美食，现场欢声笑语不断。
There were compliments about the cooking demonstration for its great participation among Fabio and audiences as a pleasant communication of the culture between China and Portugal. And laughters sprung around during the cooking, tasting and gathering with the Chef.

Sipping and sharing the port wine, audiences were impressed by the fine wine from Portugal most of who were excited about the experience never had before.
